| BALLOON COUTURE
FASHION SHOW |
| The
2010 Balloon Couture Fashion Show promises to
be bigger and better than ever before! Four (4)
of the top industry Master Designers will be invited
to create three (3) fashions for showing at the
Tuesday Evening, August 10th reception. In addition
three (3) talented designers will be asked to
create a couple of designs to be shown on the
runway. We expect a larger than ever number of
designers entering the “Top Fashion Designer”
Award competition. In 2010 we will have two categories
in the main competition, Inflated and un-inflated
Balloon Fashions. For the first time a new category
has been added to allow the young people of our
industry to show their creativity. The “Aspiring
Fashion Designer” Award will be awarded
to one of those under age 18 who design and create
a fashion for the show. Another highlight will
be the “First Timers” category with
fashions made by balloonists who have never had
a design in the Fashion Show. All in All, it promises
to be a fantastic night in Celebration of the
ARTISTRY OF BALLOON COUTURE! |
| MEALS |
| For
the eighth (8th) year, Balloon Camp will treat
those joining us to meals fit for a king. The
Sam’s Town banquet staff and award-winning
chef will put together a buffet selection of incredible
meals. Breakfast and Lunch, for all 3 days, will
be included in the registration cost. Hot and
cold hor’dourves at the Fashion Show and
a served dinner at the Final Night Gala round
out the taste treat to the palette. You’ll
dine in comfort and style in the Sam’s Town
LIVE showroom. |
| NETWORKING |
| Throughout
your Balloon Camp experience you will have the
opportunity to network with Balloonists from around
the world. In 2009, nineteen (19) countries were
represented! Here’s a chance to learn, share
and make new friends with people who care about
the industry as much as you do! |
| BALLOON JAMS |
| In
2010, Decorators will have their opportunity to
do what Twisters have been doing for years, JAM!
After a day of classes and the nighttime parties,
you can Jam until 2 in the morning. Here’s
a chance for Decorators and twisters alike to
experiment, share and learn tips and tricks that
will help you in your business. In 2010, the Jam
Room will have enough round balloons for the decorators
to explore new ways of doing things! |
| DESIGNER'S DESK |
| What
started at Balloon Camp will continue in 2010.
The DESIGNER’S DESK offers everyone the
opportunity of sitting down with Master Designers
for one-on-one help and consultation on specific
jobs you may have planned. An hour spent with
the Masters can help you design and plan that
corporate event or small party that is stumping
you. |
| CBA TESTING |
| Pioneer
Balloon Company will once again hold its CBA Exam
for those seeking to better themselves in the
industry and show their customers they are qualified
to do the job. You can make arrangements to take
